AI That Pulls Its Weight
How to move past testing tools and use AI to cut real, repeat work. What to automate first, what to leave alone, and how to tell if it’s working.
AI. Real estate.
Entrepreneurship.
I help people see what AI really changes in a business. I know because I use it in mine.
Real estate deals. Rental properties. Small teams with too much to do. The lesson has been the same every time: the win isn’t the tool. The win is less busywork and more time for the people.
Most AI talks stay in theory. Big promises, cool demos, and very little that changes how a business runs on Monday morning.
I come at it from the other side. I’ve run rental properties, worked real estate deals, and built automation for small businesses. I’ve seen where AI saves hours, and where it just adds one more tool to manage.
My view is simple. AI is worth it when it removes work, speeds up the response, and gives people time back. That’s what I teach.

Talks for audiences who want to know what AI means for their work, and what to do about it this quarter.

My take on AI comes from building, running, and fixing things in real businesses. Not from reading about trends.
As Principal Consultant, I help businesses find their repeat work and hand it to AI, automation, CRM systems, and better websites. It’s where my ideas get tested every week.
I built a digital business card automation (cards.redway.ai), plus 40 other automations for clients.
Licensed in Washington, DC, with All Service Real Estate. I work deals and handle marketing and tech for the team.

I start and run businesses, so I feel the same pressure my audiences do.
AI should take work off your plate, not add more tech to it.
You don’t need a tech department to get real value from AI.
The next edge isn’t more hustle. It’s how well your business runs without you.
Agents should learn AI now, before it changes their work for them.
Build systems that make you less needed day to day. That’s the goal.
These are my views from my own work. Your results will depend on your business.
Brian was quoted in coverage of the DC Chamber of Commerce’s Future-Ready Forum on how AI is changing work in the District.
“AI isn’t a tool I picked up. It’s the foundation I’m building on.”
I give clear, plain-English takes and can turn around quotes on a deadline.

I grew up between the DMV and New Jersey and learned business the hands-on way. In 2021 I got into short-term rentals and grew my own business to five properties. Then, as operations project manager for a co-hosting company that was a sister company to BNB Accelerator, I onboarded and managed 70+ properties for high-net-worth owners across the country. I ran operations, systems, clients, and vendors, and led a team of 10 virtual assistants. I learned fast that a business only works when the systems work.
That lesson followed me into wholesale real estate, then into my work as a licensed REALTOR® in Washington, DC, with All Service Real Estate. I studied for my licensing exam with Google’s NotebookLM and passed. In the last year I’ve been part of 4 fix-and-flip projects, I work with a lot of FHA and FHA 203(k) buyers, and since September 2025 I’ve been Senior Construction Consultant with G11 Construction. At Redway AI, I help businesses put AI and automation to work.
Today I speak and write about one question: what does AI actually change for the people doing the work? My answers come from what I’ve built, tested, and sometimes broken along the way.
